I think it ran a bit large. I am usually a size 4 and rarely wear an XS. I think because of the adjustable straps it can fit that way. I am 5'5" and had on a 3 inch heal and the dress was still a bit long, but I just picked it up to walk. I would highly recommend. Very comfortable and light and I think would be flattering on most body types.
