I have a size 10 waist and 8 hips, and the smaller size fit me better in this case because of the drape and stretch of this dress. Hit me right above the knees. Wore spanx (because this dress formfitting on the lower half) and was so comfortable all night. Got a lot of compliments, specifically, "WHERE did you get that?" Looks great with gold jewelry.
