The fabric of this dress is stretchy. I am normally a 12 but I think I could have fit in a 10 because of the stretchyness of the fabric. I rented a 12 and 14 because I wanted to make sure it fit and both were too big :( The pockets were a huge asset since I didn't want to carry a purse. The dress was very comfortable. The dress was heavier than I thought it would be, the wedding was in Texas in the middle of summer. It was about 104 degrees that day. Oh, and you can wear any kind of bra with this! All in all, it was a good experience and I am excited about the next time I get to use RTR!
