I wore this dress to my wedding shower and got so many compliments. It was very comfortable but there is not much give to the bodice. Like the other reviewers mentioned, the blue is more of a royal blue. There is also a slight sheen to the fabric. I ended up wearing a silk shirt underneath and it still fit perfectly. There is also a zipper at the neckline which I chose to unzip. This is an absolutely beautiful dress.
