I ordered a 6 and 8 as I am sometimes between these sizes. The dress fit well in the 8 due to the length as I am 5'7" and the sleeves were snug but not too tight. The dress seems to be designed more for juniors rather than women's size wise but it has a good amount of "give" to it. However, for NYE paired with black tights it was perfect. Make sure you have a shiny statement necklace for it and possibly a belt if you want to jazz it up!
