This dress was worn for an "engagement" party of sorts that was being thrown for us at someone's house so the attire wasn't super dressy. They called it "party casual." I usually wear a 4 but ended up needing the 6 (thank goodness for the back-up size!). For me, it ran smallest in the arm/shoulder area. But the 6 fit perfectly. You could wear this dress with tights but I chose to go bare legged that night. Very flattering dress!!!! Especially if your tummy area is your "trouble" zone.
