As others have mentioned, the band at the ribcage is quite snug. I rented the 0R and 2R, but never even tried on the 2. The 0 fit perfectly other than the band around the ribs. I decided that it wasn't uncomfortable enough to justify a move up to the 2, though after 10 hours in the dress my skin was imprinted with that outline. As for length, I wore this with a 3 inch heel, which was plenty high enough to keep the shorter parts of the hem off the ground. It was only while dancing or wind swirling the fabric around that I worried about stepping on the hem. These points aside, I absolutely loved the dress and received many compliments at the wedding I attended. It is stunning and elegant.
