If you have baby curves, like me, this dress shows them off marvelously. Fits like a glove, but with thick enough material that you don't need spanx - the dress smooths everything over for you! Haven't worn it to the party yet (and promise I won't wear it with those socks ;) but can't wait.. Now about sizing: I am an XS with some designers, but found the XS very tight around the arms. I also have broader shoulders that the XS definitely didn't flatter. Sizing up to the S was just perfect.
