Although I was extremely worried that my dress would not fit (my backup size of 6L was damaged), I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dress fit me impeccably. I wore this dress to prom and received endless compliments ("princess" was used more than once). The dress is slightly longer in the back than it is in the front, so I did end up wearing 2" heels, which was fine. There really is a lot of dress though--and bugs did get trapped in the layers of tulle when I was taking pictures out in the grass. Also, it was somewhat difficult to get all the layers situated when I wanted to sit down but any this was less of a problem than an inconvenience. Other reviews said the sleeves were a little tight, which was true, but they weren't uncomfortable at all. This truly was my perfect prom dress because it was exactly my style and it stood out in a sea of satin and bejeweled bodices!
