As many users said before, it does run large. I ordered the 4 and the 6 and ended wearing the 4 even though both pretty much fit. I'm 5'2" and had on 3 inch heels and the length was perfect. There is some boning in the bodice which helped keep it up. It was the perfect dress for my black tie event.
