I loved this dress so much I wore it twice in one rental! It was great for a filling Mexican dinner on Friday night, then worked perfectly for brunch and a walk along the Highline on Sunday. The material is super comfortable & much thicker than you would assume by looking at the photo. It is also a true shift, so if you have a pear body shape like myself, it may grab a bit on the sides. You don't want to size up too much though, as you don't want it slipping in the wrong places! Overall, great option for spring, summer or even fall. I see myself wearing boots and stockings with this come October! And I'm not referring to the lovely boot you see in this photo ;)
