Both the M and the L fit, but in terms of length, the large won out. Because of the snug nature of the slip, there was no riding up. I wore this to a date party for my sorority and I got plenty of compliments. I was told that the dress caught people's attention from across the room, so its definitely a winner if you're dressing to impress!
