I wore this for a black tie gala in the French Embassy and I felt like star. I got so many compliments for the dress! WARNING! The dress is more purple and bright navy then the photo shown but I didn't mind. The fit was true to size, the fabric was stretchy but smoothed everything over. If you are a little worried SPANX takes all the worries away. The top was snug and I didn't have to worry about pulling up the top. The dress is long for those of us who are short but 6 inch heels with a 1 1/2 platform took that worry right away. Definitely think about steaming the dress so the ruches fall in a more flattering way. Definitely recommending this dress!
