Ordered medium and large because I have hips so wanted to be sure I could get into it. I'm long waisted, smaller on top--definite pear. Medium fit like a glove--not too short. Shoulder straps fit perfectly. No bra needed--the top was a snug fit. I did not notice the bottom slip riding up as mentioned in other reviews, but then I wasn't dancing. It was an event for cocktail attire that involved sitting and walking around but no dancing. Felt beautiful in this dress and would recommend!
