2 years ago, I rented the same dress in champagne, and got the most compliments I've received in my life. My boyfriend likes purple, so I figured, why not! Well, first, it is still a nice dress, but it's time to take it out of the rotation. First, both sizes (0 and 2) were very worn, particularly around the seams and the zippers. Like, threadbare. Second, the boob pads (built in bra?) are shrunken and bunchy, as are the straps, which makes the top a little uncomfortable. Third, the color is not that purple, it's more maroon, which probably looks nicer on darker skin tones. As for sizing: the 0 was incredibly tight around the chest area- which was surprising for Nicole Miller. The bottom fit great though. The 2, the chest was almost as small, but the bottom was too big. I went with the 2 just because of the ruching- I figured I could make it work. Long story short: either get more of these dresses, or take them out of the rotation. Their popularity might be their downfall!!!
