I ordered the dress in an 8 and ended up having to safety pin the bust of the dress so that it would be snug enough for dancing without worrying about constantly pulling the top up. I ordinarily wear a 6-8 in dresses (36-26-28) and because the dress is strapless, I should've ordered down a size. The color and style of the dress, however, was absolutely perfect and I received many compliments! I wore this dress to a formal ball at West Point Military Academy. The weight of the dress material is heavy enough that it "hangs" well on the body - very flattering. The top is structured very nicely and has boning ike a corset.
