Fit was true to size and the fabric was stretchy and comfortable, so I never felt like I had to "suck it in". The dress is very feminine and I wore it with gold shoes and a gold bracelet & earrings. The red in the pictures is deceiving - it really is a vibrant, beatiful red color. I'm 5'3" and the dress hit me a few inches above the knee (perfect for us shorter girls!) The only issue I had was that the layers underneath were mashed up when I got the dress and I had to steam them out. It's hard to even say that was an issue...especially since I got so many compliments on this dress. Along with the people who openly commented on the dress (to whom I told I rented the runway!), I could hear other women whispering as I walked by that "oh, she has a cute dress on!"
