Loved this dress! The fit was perfect for me as, after three kids, more room in the waist didn't bother me. Very comfortable all night long. I'm usually a 6, sometimes a 4, and the 6 was perfect. Not too tight with room to move. I'm 5'4 and thought the length was also great. Short but not too short. The colors were beautiful and with the knit overlay that could be dressed up or down. Not sure why I thought it would be shiny but it's a matte finish. Overall, a total winner!
