Fitted around the rib cage and bust (but not uncomfortable - just right), otherwise fairly loose. It does run a little large - I wore an 8 in this dress (normally a 10). Perfect length - not too short but also short enough to be sexy. The lace was BEAUTIFUL, vibrantly colored, lovely. My fiance asked if I could buy the dress as soon as I tried it on. I will be keeping my eye on it if it ever goes on sale!
