I received a last minute invite to a gala in DC and turned to RTR for the first time as I had no time to go shopping. Because of the time crunch my options were limited; I chose this dress because it looked like a safe bet. The reviews were helpful and it looked like it would be forgiving even if it didn't fit perfectly. When it arrived I was very impressed with the packaging, it made the service seem a little more exciting and special. Sending 2 sizes is brilliant, I went with the larger size as the reviews indicated I would probably need to and it fit well. I was a little disappointed to see the edges of the lace had frayed badly from previous wears, though. I know lace has the tendency to fray, but the smaller size looked much less worn. When it was on I noticed a small portion of the hem of the nude satin lining on the right sleeve was undone and was more exposed than it should have been. However the color was beautiful, the dress looked lovely overall (and in pictures), and the heavier fabric was perfect for a cold winter night. Even with the imperfections, I would definitely rent again.
