The dress fit a little loose around my stomach which meant that the fabric occasionally bunched up around my waist. Overall, I would say this dress fits true to size, but it just wasn't as tight as I was expecting. The material is stretchier than it appears in photos. It was really perfect for an outdoor wedding as it was fairly modest yet provided enough ventilation to wear outdoors in 80+ degree weather.
