I'm usually between a 2 and a 4 depending on the cut of a dress (2 on top, 4 in the hips). I'm 5'7" so I ordered a 2L since I would be wearing fairly tall heels. The 4L wasn't available as a backup, so i got the 4R instead. I ended up wearing the 4R because the 2 was too tight. Even in regular length with tall heels, this dress doesnt show as much ankle as the picture. Unless you are VERY tall, I wouldn't recommend the long or the back may drag on the ground. I LOVE a dress with pockets so that's a plus for stashing small items without carrying around a bag. With the unique hemline, this dress is great for a cocktail party or more formal affair. I wore it for a company holiday party and received compliments all night! Customer service was great, return was easy, I'll definitely be using rent the runway again!
