I would typically wear a 4, so it fit well. I didn't totally fill out the top, but that's not surprising for me. The only annoying thing was the slight gapping that occurred at the top- my bra showed if I didn't stand up straight. It clings pretty closely to the body (in a good way). If you're generally wide through the waist area, this dress might accentuate that due to the ruching at the sides in the middle.
