I wore the small instead of the x-small just to be cautious of how it would slip up higher/shorter on me while I danced. I am a crazy dancer, so it was purely for piece of mind... I also wore a belt as the mid section was a little lose on me in the small. I wore this to a winter wedding in Minnesota and was NOT cold. This dress is lined so that it is both warm and non-itchy. I have no complaints except that I had to send it back!!!
