The sequins do have a bronze patina on the opposite side of the silver. To remedy for less just run your hand over it to flip the sequins to the silver side. I am 5'11 and this dress was short ( fell just under the bum line)! Easily fixed with black shiny leggings (stockings will snag). I have an hour glass shape and the medium fit it just right. The fabric is stretchy so if your arms are not in the best shape you don't have to worry. Arms are not lined but it was not too itchy. My favorite part was when a little girl saw sequins for the first time and couldn't stop rubbing the dress with big eyes saying 'pretttyyyy.' It's the little things folks. But trust me, you will look fabulous!
