This is a shift dress so it definitely hangs loose. There is a little hole exposing your back on the back side of it but you can still wear a regular bra with it. I wore the 2 and got 4 as backup... they both seemed to fit identical but the 2 was a little tighter in the chest/armpit area? I wore that one though so it was a bit more fitted. Length was perfect- was able to dance in it. It was 100 degrees out at the wedding and the material was light enough that I was still cool. Would definitely rent it again for another occasion!
