I have a bit of an odd body shape, dresses rarely fit perfectly. My shoulders were a little tight, but the waist of the dress a little loose. Not at all noticed by anyone but me. I wore this to a cocktail reception for convention being hosted at Disneyland's Grand Californian Hotel. I wanted to use Queen Elsa from Frozen as my inspiration for the evening. The dress seemed perfect, but once it arrived, was lined with pink sateen (I thought it was silver based on the online pictures...). Thankfully pinned next to my boyfriend's blue suit & having the blue snowflake headpiece I made, it took away from the base line pink dress. The sparkles are various shaded square sequins in black, silver, and grey metallic making it appear to be reflecting light in multiple directions. Very creative. The sequins are set low enough they don't itch your arms, neck, or legs on any seam and the length is perfectly placed above the knee. The skirt is "skater" or "teacup" style which flatters multiple body shapes. Popular fashion photographer's & news photographers were taking our pictures all night & telling us how much they loved the dress. It's light weight, but yet I still felt like I was wearing all diamonds. This dress? Frozen success!
