This dress was perfect for this event. It was a beautiful color, and easy to accessorize. (I wore gold accessorizes.) The fit was perfect as well, a little long, but perfect around my upper body which was my main concern. It did an awesome job keeping the "girls" under control and also hiding the little bit of tummy that I have. The material felt durable, yet it was cool and easy to move around in. I definitely recommend this dress.
