This dress was perfect for my black tie optional event. It has some stretch and the shimmer/sparkle detailing is much more prominent than the model photo shows--Most of the reviewer photos show it more accurately. I am usually between a 4 and 6 and the 6 was unavailable so I wore the 4. I probably would have preferred the fit of the 6 since this was a tad snug, but it worked. The only negative I noticed is that the lining tends to hang down about a quarter inch longer than the lace layer.
