I ordered the 8L and 6L. I normally am between an 8 and a 10 so I ordered the 6 with apprehension but based off the reviews I read, that really seemed the way to go for this dress. Thank goodness I did....I ended up wearing the 6L. I do wish I had gotten regular and not tall. I wore 3 1/2 inch heels and I felt that I was stepping on the inside of the back a lot. The fit is definitely big, so order smaller than you normally would. The 6L had plenty of room in the mid section. It was comfortable and I didn't feel constricted at all. The skirt part of the dress feels a little heavy/bulky but that may just be me. It didn't affect the look at all. To sum up, I usually hate having formal wear sit in my closet, never to be worn again. That is why I used RTR for this military ball (our last!). But I sure wish this dress was mine.. I'd definitely wear it again and again.
