I ordered the 38L for a last minute shipment after one of my other RtR dresses was unavailable. I'm 5'6" and wore 3 inch heels, and the L length ended up being way too long. I used fabric tape to create a temporary hem, but the 38R would have been a much better fit. Otherwise, the dress fit perfectly. The fabric is thick enough that it won't show every imperfection. Since it was such a last minute order, I did not have a bra that would work with it so went without, which was fine. I got a TON of compliments and a friend at the wedding even contacted me afterward so she could rent it for an upcoming event. Highly recommend.
