The dress was more of a navy than a black. I wore it with champagne colored shoes. It was hard to dance in because of the length, but I still got down. I run between a size 10 and an 8. This dress I had to use the 10 because it fit perfectly. The spanks helped, but I had to hike them up in the back b/c the slit went kind of high. I would rent this one again.
