The dress has a little stretch, but not enough for you to fully rely on it. A lot of past reviewers said you couldn't wear a bra with it due to the lace back. I wore a bra and you couldn't see the bra straps through the lace since its lined with a nude fabric. The slits add sass to the dress but are not high enough it makes it risky. I was showered with complements on the dress and how elegant it looked. It was extremely comfortable and the color was very vibrant. I ordered the long in fear that the regular might not be long enough. I wore flats and the dress was perfect length. I had about an inch or so that was on the floor so I would have been able to wear heels had I wanted. Overall I was extremely happy with this dress!
