Overall, the dress has a nice fit. It isn't just a straight fit, which is nice for those of us with curves. In fact, it is hard to tell from the picture of the dress that there is some gathering around the front middle area. My only con is that the lining on the front right side didn't seem to want to stay where it should, allowing the sequins on the underside to scratch my leg. Other than that, the dress was fabulous and so fun to wear!
