“Glamorous dress although not quite as forgiving as I had hoped”

This dress had just the right amount of curve hugging glamour while still looking appropriate for my husband's military ball. I loved the flattering neckline and the notice-me red color, although it was a little more tomato red than I expected. The ruching was helpful to hide flaws from one side, but the other angle seemed to thicken my waistline rather than slim it (even with Spanx) and make me look a little more Jessica Rabbit up top than I had realized. I am usually a size 4 or 6, but the 2R actually fit well except for the bust which was just a little too tight for comfort so I ended up wearing the 4R, which allowed me to breathe comfortably. Both dresses were about one inch too long, even with four inch heels. Overall, a successful dress, even with the less than flattering angles.
