Completely unforgiving but fits great-I actually wore a waist cincher in order to fake an hourglass shape. Best on a natural hourglass figure. Also better on fuller busts-the 14 was a little big in the bust area which isn't normally an issue. Note that the dress is VERY long- I'm six feet tall, wore 4.5 inch heels and the length of the 14L was perfect. I only recommend the long for tall girls planning to wear heels. All things considered I highly recommend this dress!
