I originally ordered the 8P but when it arrived I realized it was a little to big. And since the dress is strapless, it really needs to fit your chest/trunk area tightly so it doesn't come off! Fortunately the dress had arrived a day earlier than it was even supposed to so I called RTR who said they could give me a 6 but not in petite. Even the 8 in petite was a little long for me so I was worried about that. RTR threw in hem tape for no extra charge, which worked really well. I loved the dress, it fit wonderfully in the torso area, and I got a lot of rave reviews. It really stood out from all the black dresses you see at a formal event.
