The fit was very true to size. Although it has a very flattering fit, it does show hips due to lower waist line and boning within the dress (if that is a concern). I am 5'2" and wore 4 1/2" heels and the 6R was still way to long. I suggest if you are short, and have high heels, go with the 6P.
