I wore this dress for a formal professional dinner for my boyfriend's company. I ordered a 6 and the 8, usually I am a 6 but ended up wearing the 8… because it was so much more comfortable. This dress fits like a glove. Height is true to size, I am 5'6 and wore 3 1/2 inch heels. I wasn't a huge fan of the ruching, but you can't really tell. It's a beautiful dress, doesn't stand out, but doesn't take away. I think it's perfect for professional formal events or even weddings where you don't when you don't want to be over the top. Keep in mind the back is longer than the front, I wasn't expecting the small train, but it worked as long as I didn't step on it.
