This dress fits like a dream for pear-shaped bodies like mine. I could fit into both the 10R and 12R, but chose to wear the larger size because the zipper was VERY hard to get up in the 10. As other reviewers have noted, the dress is quite fitted at its empire waist. I wore this to a university alumni fundraiser and two other women had the same style, but both wore the champagne color! Whew for navy blue!! Wish I could keep this one to play dress-up in. ;)
