This dress is beautiful. I wore it for a wedding and then ordered it again as a backup for another event I didn't end up wearing it to because the other dress I rented was REALLY fabulous. The dress flows beautifully over the body and is REALLY great for someone shaped like me- a pear, smaller at the top and bigger at the bottom, mostly because the bodice of the gown is extremely short-waisted. If you're heavier at the top I don't know if it would look as good. The biggest problem with this dress is a design flaw with the zipper. There is an invisible zipper in the back , and the way the waistband is sewn into the gown it makes the dress nearly IMPOSSIBLE to zip over the waistband. You certainly can't do it alone, you can barely do it with a helper. God forbid the dress is ONE IOTA snug- there's no way that zipper is going up. You need to roll the two sides of the zipper by the waistband INWARD so they don't buckle outward and make it impossible to zip. So MAKE SURE you size up in this dress as it runs small anyway, then tell the person zipping you up to roll the sides of the zipper inward around the waistband. When you DO get it zipped, though, it looks and feels great.
