I rented a 2L and a 4R for a mardi gras ball. I'm usually a size 4 in more fitted dresses bc my butt is bigger but since this dress wasn't fitted the 2L fit perfectly and I didn't need a bra. I wore about a 6" stacked heel which was perfect. The 4R length would have been way to short for the shoe I wore. The dress looks more shiny in pictures and looks more muted in person. Overall it was a great choice and I got several compliments.
