The dress material is on the thick side with all the ruching and layered materials. I'm 5'9" and around 130 lbs, not a lot on top, so I felt like I didn't fill out the top portion of the dress unless I stuck my chest out (posture!!!) The dress was very comfortable and great to dance in.
