I'm normally a size 4, but the 4 was way too tight for my legs. I wore a 6 and it was still hard to move. This is not a dress to dance in, it gives no stretch whatsoever. The color is more of a dark navy and looks different in pictures than it does in person. I'm 5'9 and the dress was perfect length for my flats. Overall a very pretty gown.
