It is a dress best for standing or walking slowly, but who cares! You'll look fabulous. I rented the 2lL because the 2R was not available... I bought some cool platforms that gave me an extra 6 inches and the dress just skimmed the floor. The ruffled train is beautiful and flows in the nicest way from the detailed folds in the front to the peplum to the back. The satin causes the color to change depending on lighting which is also cool. In low light it is a rich sapphire. In bright lights more like tanzanite. This dress is a stunner.
