I tried this on at the store after my stylist picked it out for me. I am usually not drawn to blue but this blue is so pretty. This was perfect for a black tie wedding. The wedding was outside in August and I was much less hot than my friends, the dress is pretty light. I wore and 8P which was the perfect length for my shoes, I am 5'3". My back up was the 8R, which worked with the shoes I tried on at the store. My heels were about 3". I am usually and 8 and the 8 fit well. I didn't wear a bra since it's both tight and pleated on top. There was an illustrator at the wedding and I was able to get a fashion illustration done of me in the dress. Such a nice keep sake.
