I ordered a 10R and 8R, had it not been after cookie/christmas season I would have worn the 8 but I opted for the 10 to be more comfortable. It was difficult to zip up yourself as it got stuck at the seam where the fabric changes direction. The dress has a lot of fabric, I had to be aware that I wasn't stepping on it when I sat or if it got caught under the chair. And if you are planning on wearing heels under 4" you'll be holding the dress up.
