Okay originally I picked the 12L the 10 was only optional. In straight dresses I am definitely a 12, but this had stretch and the gathering was flattering. So if your small on top go with a size smaller. The top is very supportive, the downfall to a small busted woman is that it flattened me out even more. Easy fix I wore my most enhancing strapless bra. The only other con to the dress was,when the dress got pressed in the past it burned the wire into one side of the top it had a silverfish line down the top left side. It wasn't that noticeable because the wedding was in a very dark reception room. I would totally recommend this dress. I felt BEAUTIFUL!
