At the time that I wore this dress, I was heavier than I am now. I wore it for a gala event back in March of 2012. I had ordered the 8L and the 10L to see which one fit best. I didn't even have to try on the 10L, because the 8L was a perfect fit to my figure at the time. I loved the way the dress just dropped on my body and being stretchy wasn't necessary on the fabric. The length was perfect for me, since I tend to wear 4 to 5 inch heels, being 5'6. The dress really was a beautiful dress.
