I had a strapless wedding gown and wanted a cover up to wear for my November NYC wedding in case it was chilly, which it was that day! I'm so glad I rented and didn't buy something! This is exactly what I wanted. It's not warm necessarily, but served its purpose for a few minutes of outside photos and added some extra glamour. My dress was cream so I went with grey and it added a nice contrast instead of being close, but mismatched. I was worried I'd look like a muppet so took it off for half of my photos just in case. It photographed well, but I'm glad I have some without it. I'm 5'3" and it worked well -- it wasn't too overwhelming, and would be even better on someone taller. Get it! Why not?!
